How to See Better Landscape Photo Compositions

Composition is one of the more nuanced and difficult parts of landscape photography, and it is something even the most experienced among us struggle with. If you are having trouble finding good landscape compositions, this awesome video tutorial breaks the process into three stages that will help you create better images.

Coming to you from Andrew Marr, this excellent video tutorial discusses how to find better landscape photography compositions. No doubt, composition is something almost all of us have struggled with at some point. When you are first starting out, it is common to default to heuristics like the rule of thirds, and those certainly serve their purpose, but if you look at the work of accomplished landscape photographers, you will surely notice that their compositional language is often far more subtle, refined, and most important, personal to them. If for no other reason than finding a deeper connection with your own work, it is well worth taking the time to explore composition on a higher level. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Marr.

Your videos are interesting, but the poor sound (hollow sounding) is very distracting.
