Why You Shouldn't Give Up When Landscape Conditions Aren't Quite Right

Persistence is a quality that can pay off in many areas of life, and photography is no different. Sometimes, in landscape photography, you do not get the sort of light or conditions you were hoping for, but that does not mean you should pack in the gear and go home. This excellent video shows you the kind of pleasant surprises that can await you when you stick around.

Coming to you from Simon Baxter, this awesome video shows the benefits of sticking around in landscape photography, even when conditions are not what you hoped for. A lot of us go out with our camera with certain images in mind, but being at the mercy of the elements, those may not always materialize. And while that can be frustrating, I firmly believe that we can make good images in any light. The key is to not fight the light but rather to tailor our work to photos that the light is conducive to. Learning to be flexible and willing to adjust in the moment can be a huge boon to your work. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Baxter.
