6 Lesser-known Landscape Photography Editing Techniques in Lightroom

Lightroom has become impressively capable in the last few years, easily able to edit a wide range of landscape images from start to finish. With all these capabilities and features, it can be easy to overlook some of the options at your disposal. One of the most useful features in newer versions of the program for editing landscape images is the upgraded masking panel. If you have not tried it out yet, definitely take an hour to explore it a bit. I have been thoroughly impressed by the AI masking feature, with the Select Sky function being particularly useful for landscape work. It has allowed me to perform complex selections, such as working with skies behind leafy trees, with surprising efficiency and has become an essential part of my workflow. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Denney.
