Dante's View - Death Valley NP - California

This creative edit of Dante's View at 5,476 ft. above sea level - overlooking Badwater Basin - Lowest Elevation in North America, at -282 ft. below sea level is a dramatic rendition thanks to Capture One 23's editing tools. The Raw image was under exposed to maintain the highlights on the horizon. Slider adjustments in combination with a variety of masks used.
One of the fun things I've experienced here both times I've been, as the sun goes down the BATS come out, and the fearful run for their cars! Conversely, dealing with the strong gusts, not so fun!
