Today we journey back to the ancient beech forests of Euskadi — a place where time seems to stand still, and the trees whisper stories older than men.
This image had been waiting silently on my hard drive, like a memory tucked away in the roots of the forest itself.
I stepped back to find a small waterfall carving its way through the rocks, leading the gaze to the iconic tree of the gorge — towering and still, as if watching over its woodland realm.
The cliffs flank the scene like guardians, and just as the morning light began to filter through the canopy, it illuminated the leaves in a beautiful halo, casting a gentle glow across the undergrowth.
In that quiet moment, I almost expected the tree to stir, speak in the slow tongue of the Ents, and remind me that I was standing in one of the last wild corners of Middle-earth.
