A historic place
Vivienne has retained its former charm and modernized to meet the needs of contemporaries. The Galerie Vivienne is one of the most important covered galleries in the city of Paris. Built in 1823 according to the plans of the architect Francois Jean Delannoy and then the Galerie Marchoux, by its first owner, it was opened in 1826 under the name Galerie Vivienne and takes its name from the rue Vivienne where it is located. Supposedly stores and restaurants, a true architectural masterpiece, it is now the site of many events such as film shoots, fashion shows and renowned artists' exhibitions. Over the years, the Galerie Vivienne has retained its old charm while modernizing itself to meet the needs of its contemporaries.

Thank you very much, Robert, for your very kind and constructive comment. I'm glad you liked my photo. It seems I did everything right. I'm especially pleased about your comment, as I value you as a tough but fair commentator. Best regards, Herbert
The absolutely symmetrical placing of the Greek statues in your photograph is superb. Then on top of that my eyes go to the shadow of the buildings through the glass. Full-Marks.
