Beyond Forest’s Beauty
This work is a study in precision, turning a fleeting gesture into something that endures. The search took place over different days and locations, under changing light and with different initial camera positions. Only when gesture, shadow, and light began to hold the forest rather than dissolve it did the image take shape.
To make foliage and trees truly resist the typical ICM blur and preserve fragments of reality within abstraction, movement alone is not enough. The choice of location matters: the slope and morning light work together to bring definition instead of diffusion.
