Umbrella Avenue

This backlit shot leverages golden hour light within a tree tunnel, where the main challenge was a strong green cast from the foliage acting as a reflector. To counter low ambient light and isolate the subjects, the photographer utilized a Canon R6 Mark II with the RF 28-70mm F2 lens, setting ISO 1000 and f/2.0 at 1/500s to ensure sharp focus and distinct background compression.

Post-production targeted the "green bounce" by shifting global Tint toward Magenta and adjusting Greens in HSL. A "Select Subject" mask was essential to locally warm the skin tones and recover shadow detail in the groom's suit, balancing the couple against the bright, atmospheric background without washing out colors.
