Inverted Kiss

This intimate wedding portrait plays with perspective by positioning the bride horizontally on a table while the groom leans in from above. A side-placed Zhiyun Cinepeer CX100 provided a strong backlight, sculpting the couple’s profiles and pearls with a warm, cinematic glow. Shot on a Canon EOS R6 Mark II paired with the RF 28–70mm f/2L USM lens, the image uses shallow depth of field and precise lighting to emphasize the moment’s emotional tension and elegance.

Camera settings: 54 mm · f/2 · 1/200 s · ISO 640.

I think I like it upside down better.
When he's upside down you cannot register his weird facial expression, and she looks better then too.

Also the hallo in her hair is not that great.

But I love the idea behind this photo, have to think like a minute to guess how it was done :D

There are quite a few imperfections, but this session was completely spontaneous… the weather ruined our plans, and we had to improvise in two small rooms. Thanks for the comment!
