Harris's Hawk

I couldn't believe my luck when this hawk flew straight toward me. I was thrilled.Until I found out about the Raptor Foundation, not far from me, I had never seen real living birds such as these. I was cared that from my chair I just wasn't going to succeed. It was not as hard as I thought it would be though I got plenty of misses, with just a wing in the photo or the whole bird with the wing ends cut off or no space around the bird. I have improved with time. I guess I have been 3 times now.
