In this week's episode of "Photographing The World 4" Behind the Scenes, we move down to Patagonia to film the second half of this landscape photography tutorial.
The beginning of episode 5 starts with a big life decision: I finally decided to shave my head. As I'm sure you have all noticed, I've been losing my hair over the last few years, and I randomly decided to shave it right before our big trip down to South America. The worst part about shaving your head is that it takes a long time to get an even tan. I assumed a few days in Turks and Caicos without hair would be enough time in the sun to even things out, but I was wrong. A week later when I was in Patagonia, my head was still glowing white.
Once we arrived in Patagonia, we checked into Tierra Patagonia Hotel, which was the most impressive hotel I've ever visited. It's extremely expensive, but if you want a world-class, all-inclusive experience, it will not disappoint.
Normally, when I post these behind the scenes episodes, I can show you before and after images and give you guys a little more insight into our filming experience. Sadly, the weather completely wrecked our first few days of filming in Patagonia, and Elia didn't even attempt to take any pictures.
Stay tuned for next week's episode, when the weather turns from rainy to some of the windiest conditions I've ever felt. You can learn more about "Photographing The World 4" and all of the other Fstoppers tutorials in the Fstoppers Store.
When will the one with the girly hair get a haircut?
Something I've not noticed until this release. As unremarkable as Lee's voice is, it's actually quite remarkable when narrating these installments. In point of fact -- I can't ever see them being produced without him doing the narrations.
