It seems that every time I see a glacier I have to explore and see what lies beneath the surface. Bear glacier is easily accessible once you've made the maddeningly long drive to this part of Canada. This ice cave was quite large and extended quite a ways, but the best photos need light pulsing through the ice. It was alternating between snow and sunshine outside when I shot this and happened to catch a moment where the sun peeked through and gave a nice bright spot at the entrance.
