Long exposure shot overlooking a couple glaciers and mountains in Alaska. My wife and I went hiking with the intention of getting to the top of the glacier on the left side of the frame. Turns out it was a lot further away than anticipated. We camped out in the alpine with not a soul around and enjoyed a beautiful night filled with stars and the aurora shimmering overhead. I got up at 3:30am intending to get to a peak before sunrise, but after 4 miles this was my view and sunrise was about to happen. I stacked a 10-stop and a 6-stop ND filter to get the long exposure I wanted from the clouds giving a sense of motion to this gorgeous scene. It was not what I had intended, but turned into a unique shot.
