When the sky speaks

Every year a good friend joins me for a hiking trip somewhere on the planet. This year he wanted to do glacier national park and after much cajoling, he agreed to start hiking 1.5 hours before sunrise so I could be situated for sunrise and golden hour. The sunrise was gorgeous, but shortly after the light rays lit up the valley in an amazing way. We had the whole place to ourselves as we enjoyed watching the sky speak.
Maybe one day it won't take as much convincing to get up at 4:30 for a hike when we have awesome experiences like this...though I have my doubts.
