Watching the aurora is easily one of the most amazing experiences on earth. A cannibal CME gave us one of the most spectacular shows I've ever seen. I spent over 8 hours outside in absolute awe of the celestial dance with the opportunity to bounce around to a few locations for a variety of pictures. Having a thin layer of ice gave the perfect reflective surface to work with for the foreground.
