ineffable

I found this north looking ice tube and wanted to shoot an aurora picture from here. Thankfully the weather cooperated while this was still viable to pull off safely. The moon was almost full which lit up the foreground quite nicely and allowed me to shoot this at a respectable iso. I hiked out at 9pm and stood around for about 2.5 hours before there was a strong enough aurora burst to overcome the moonlight.
