Riana and I had spent the afternoon shooting in harsh sunlight. The sun finally dropped behind some clouds along the horizon, we found some dark rock at the edge of the dam wall and this was the end result.
THE SETUP: Shot on location at Gold Creek Dam in Brisbane's West with a Fuji X-T2 and a 50 year old, fungus filled, 50mm manual focus Pentax lens.
THE EDIT: A half hour in Capture One with a heavy focus on curves adjustment.
THE HOW: Riana was very patient, lying on the sharp black rocks while I moved around her trying to find the best angle and natural light.
