Time to rid of the hobo like beard I've been growing for the past... Wow... 9 months, facial hair doesn't really grow that fast for me. Feels and looks odd being clean shaven, also now people are really going to mistake me for a girl from a distance now, guess that means I should consider cutting off the hair on my head soon as well. Regardless I figured I might as well take a before and after photo of myself.
Figured I'd try for a triptych for todays photo, and I kind of figured the shot of me getting ready to shave would be the most interesting shot as well, and frankly it is. Also figured in order to make this triptych a little more interesting I decided go with a black, grey and white background for each photo, kind of like a progression from dirty to clean in a way. So yea all I did was set up my lights, mark of where I'd be positioned and shot myself a lot. Once I got the three shots I liked I just did some simple post work in ACW and just tweaked it a bit colour wise in Photoshop along with sharpening before calling it a day. So not much post work went into this either, maybe I should have cleaned up my skin a bit but whatever I'm a guy and this isn't some glamour shot anyway hahaha. Point is no more facial hair and I'm sure the next time I do a wide angle self portrait of myself where I'm kind of small in the frame more people are going to think I'm so girl standing in some field hahaha.
