The rufous hummingbird is named for its color. This photo was take at Bog Springs Campground in Madera Canyon, near Continental AZ. It is a high speed flash photo, with a white cardboard background. The background is a photoshopped yucca plant of some kind, that was at the same campground. I did a radial blur on the plant, and composited the bird on top of that.
