Not pictured: me trying to not get blown off this ledge I scrambled up to. Taken on a backpacking trip in one of my favorite areas around Mount Rainier. After hiking through incredible wildflower meadows, I made my way to this location overlooking the entire landscape. The scramble to get here and being kept up all night by the crazy strong winds was worth it to witness this scene.
