Fall Shut-ins

In southern Missouri, the last bit of the day's light highlighted the fall color at these shut-ins created by rocks in the river. This was one of the more technical edits I've attempted. For the background I blended two shots, one for the trees and one longer exposure for the smoother reflection. The foreground was focus stacked with a longer exposure blended in for the waterfall to brighten it up. An orton effect was applied to the background to emphasize the glow that I saw in the moment.
