In southern Missouri, this lone yellow tree stood out from the background. I set out in the morning hoping for a foggy autumn shot of this lake. Lackluster conditions forced me to peruse other compositions, when I saw this scene across the water. It improved as a subtle glow from sunrise peaked over the trees.
