Snowy landscape of the South Rim of the Gran Canyon at Hopi Point. Note the Zoroaster Temple on the right.
On our second day at the Gran Canyon National Park we woke up to half a foot of fresh snow. What a treat to take photos of this wonder with snow!!
These are three images stitched together with LR.
Mariano, I am more familiar with this Hopi Point through my study of the area via maps and the regions history. I have been to the south rim several times but I’m much more familiar with the north rim region of the canyon.
I like your interpretation of this classic and popular view. The quiet subtle soft hues of the canyon’s mesas, buttes and plateaus. The almost monochrome storm clouds breaking heading south and the group of ravens head into the inner canyon. Beautiful well composed image thank you for sharing it.
