I took this two days ago after searching through numerous patches of flowers to find ones that hadn't been completely destroyed by wind. Winds make taking photos like this quite difficult when you are trying to capture such a wide range of light. Thankfully I caught a moment of calm right as the sun descended behind the peaks.
I think the luckiest thing about this photo is not having a million bugs hovering on my lens, haha.
I love how you captured the backlight adding a luminous quality to the flower petals.
