Elephant Shrews or Sengis are arguably the cutest of the Africa "Little 5" animals. This little guy - a Short-snouted Sengi - was living in a rocky cleft in a brushy area where he had a good view from a position of safety.
I took the image with a Canon 7D Mark II with an EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens. The exposure settings were 1/500 sec, f/5.6, ISO 640, 400 mm, handheld.
