Although the multimillion dollar project is of great interest to local weekly newspaper readers, it was hard to come up with a photo of machinery as mundane as these battered bottom dredgers to visually amp up the text story. This same scene in standard B&W seemed to have no snap at all. But this infrared version visually intrigued the local editor because it was a view that almost demanded to be looked at closer -- helping to more strong make its point about work on this broad curve of Newton Lake Park in Camden County, New Jersey.
