Infrared Dancer

One of the state's oldest towns, Haddonfield, New Jersey is famed for the histroric architecture, shops and restaurants of its historic district as well as for the public art works that have turned much of the borough into a sculpture garden. One of the main entrance roads hails visitors with this sculpture called "Ballerina" by Baltimore sculptor Barry Woods Johnson who says he was inspired by a dancer he saw in a theater play in the 1960s. As part of a photo feature about the town's sculptures, I shot this one in black and white infrared.
