You can think of this one as a ghost guard -- rather than a Coast Guard -- vessel. It's one of the many unexpected visions photographers can stumble across will wandering the backroads of New Jersey's famed Pine Barrens. Located on Tuckerton Creek in Ocean County, it's anchored into the ground and is part of an environmental tourist attraction now fallen into disrepair. The boat is a ghostly presence as it stands sentry over little more than the treelines, cloudscapes and churning water current.
