An homage to Santiago Calatrava

-Composing-
Under the Opera in Valencia.
An homage to Santiago Calatrava
I redesigned the substructure of the opera in Valencia. I have taken Santiago Calatrava's architecture to the extreme, in the truest sense of the word. I copied part of the substructure, mirrored it, cropped parts of it and copied and mirrored it again. Last but not least, I put all the pieces back together to create a new motif.

Hebert, something today truly caught my attention seeing a thumbnail of this and drew me in for a closer look. And WOW you creative artistic vision here finally hit me. Have you shared this inspiration with Santiago?

Dear Paul Kister,
this comment must have "passed me by". I was on vacation at the time and didn't keep in touch enough. Please excuse my rudeness in not replying to you. I am pleased if I was able to inspire you with this picture. It took me a lot of time to get it just right. Of course, I didn't share this inspiration with Santiago Calatrava. You can't get close to this architect. But I love his great architecture. Best regards Herbert
Please forgive my late reply.

No problem, not at all Herbert, partly my fault not liking and commenting back in Oct. ’23 when you originally posted, alls good by me, … but still think you could send him a link or better yet a small print … you never know.
