Taken towards the end of summer 2023. My wife and 2 year old took our travel trailer down to Huntington Beach to hang out, take photos and enjoy the beach. It rained twice this day and it was pretty much 80f all day. VERY unusual for California. In fact these clouds were from the tropical activity we had this summer including a tropical storm. I call it sunset season on the west coast but this was an exceptional year. Almost every night for a month was like this. I tried for a greater reflection but the surf wouldn't cooperate. I took about 100 different shots, including ones with footprints as leading lines but this was the one that I went with for the sheer colors.
