Watching a presentation on YouTube by Harold Davis and came away very intrigued with his style of high key photography. He arranges flowers on a light boxtable and overexposes them to create fantastic images. Two of his images are featured on CY2024 US postal stamps. I highly recommend checking him out as his presentation is very inspiring.
Anyways, I tried his approach using a constant LED light inside a softbox instead of a light table. This image is a composite of several shots (all on the right side of the histogram) with varying shutter speeds. The longest exposure was about 50 seconds and the shortest was probably around 15 seconds. Trying to think of other subjects I could shoot using this technique.
