The Grand Central Terminal (colloquially often called Grand Central Station) is a railway station in Manhattan in New York, USA. He sits on the corner 42nd Street and Park Avenue. Presently there ends the commuter trains of Metro North to Westchester County, Putnam County, Dutchess County, Fairfield County and New Haven County. The Grand Central Terminal was consecrated in on February 2, 1913 as head station and has since been the greatest railway station of the World regarding the number of tracks -. He has 44 platforms, at which ends 67 tracks. The floor Accommodation railway station is located on two levels, 41 tracks forming on the top, 26 on the lower level. On the occasion of centenary celebration the building was picked up by the American Society of Civil Engineers in the List of Historic Civil Engineering Landmarks 1. February 2013.
