I have 3 versions of this photo that I really like. I can't choose which one I like the best. They each are different and have their own personalities, so I've decided I'm just going to post all 3. I think each one has a place in my portfolio. In the past I've always tried to narrow down different versions of a photo to just 1 for my portfolio. But in doing that I feel like I've left out some photos that should be seen. So this year, if I have different versions of a photo that I can't choose between I think I'm just going to post them all.
This version is all one shot. The previous 2 are composites as the moon was not quite in position when I got those colors. As you can see here most of the color was gone by the time the moon got where I wanted it. The thing I like the most about this one is I got the "Earthshine" part of the moon in it.
I do like the first posted version best, with this one right behind it. Coming from a large industrial construction background I appreciate these structures all "lit up"...I know explicitly what it took to accomplish that!
Thanks Frank! I think I like the first one I posted best as well but they all have certain aspects I like. It's too hard to choose!
I know what you mean, especially as I try and choose images to enter in the monthly contests, that I have images that match the criteria!
