St. Stephen's Basilica (Hungarian: Szent István-bazilika) is located on St. Stephen's Square (Szent István tér) in the Pest district and has been the largest church in the Hungarian capital Budapest and the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest since its consecration in 1905.
The impressive dimensions of the basilica become particularly clear when you enter the interior of the church and take a look at the mighty, 96-meter-high dome, which contains an impressive mosaic depicting God, Jesus and various angels.
