A new perspective on the legendary Eilean Donan Castle — this time a horizontal composition, where I aimed to bring the texture of the ancient rocks in the foreground into dialogue with the iconic bridge leading to the castle’s gate.
As the sun began to sink towards the horizon, its last golden rays brushed the edge of the stone bridge, creating a nice sunstar that felt like a final blessing upon the scene. Above, delicate clouds drifted across the sky, adding subtle textures to the fading light.
A fleeting moment where history, light, and nature aligned.
