So This is Love

There's a long story that goes with this but I'll give the short version. I came across this couple and their four very young children when I stopped by a local beach in La Jolla, California. I came, I saw, I conquered ... or, more accurately, I ended up photographing them under cover meaning they recognized my presence and that I was shooting but did not realize it was them. They had their tripod with their iPhone set up taking a video of themselves and paid no attention to me. When they were leaving, I followed them and wanted to get their info to share what I had taken. But that's when I discovered they spoke very little English. They were from the Ukraine and were now living in California, probably escaping the war. We communicated through Translate on her phone ... she was very adept with the program, and I got my message across to her and she was excited to have me send the photos I had taken. I was at a pretty far distance from them and had to crop in a lot but my camera performed up to expectations.
