How to Fix Perspective in Photoshop

Few things are more frustrating than taking a photo with a ton of potential, only to sit down at your computer and realize that the perspective is off. Luckily, there is a lot you can do in modern post-processing software to fix an image's perspective. This excellent video tutorial will show you everything you need to know to do that in Photoshop.

Coming to you from Aaron Nace with Phlearn, this awesome video tutorial will show you how to correct the perspective of a photo using Photoshop. The important thing to remember when doing this is that you are asymmetrically stretching the image in different areas, meaning that you will lose image quality in an uneven manner. If you do not push it too far, this is unlikely to be noticeable, which is why it is important to get it as close to correct as possible in person. That being said, modern software features like Generative Fill can help pick up some of the slack if things go too far awry, and this sort of perspective work can be a nice way to correct the occasional issue instead of investing in an expensive specialized option like a tilt-shift lens, though if you find yourself frequently doing this, it might be a good idea to look at one. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Nace.
