Aperty's Face Mesh technology enables detailed 3D facial mapping, ensuring accurate and seamless edits. This technology forms the foundation of Aperty's latest retouching tools.
Aperty's new segmentation system divides the face into three key zones using the Face Mesh technology. By analyzing each zone separately, photographers can apply precise adjustments where needed, refining facial features while maintaining a natural look.
Once a Face Mesh is generated and the face is segmented, Aperty's advanced computer vision technology analyzes facial features and applies adjustments tailored to each unique portrait. This intelligent automation is claimed to allow natural-looking edits without the need for complex manual refinements.
The software is just rolling out today, so I haven't had a chance to test or evaluate it yet. It's in competition with many other editors, some aimed specifically at portraits are Evoto, and Portrait Professional.
