The Art And Business Of High End Retouching On Creative Live

In just a few days, I'll be teaching on Creative Live! Watch me over the course of three days (June 26-28), as I will be teaching and presenting about the art and business of retouching. We'll start right from the beginning of a shoot all the way to the finishing touches! I have the pleasure of bringing in Felix Kunze to shoot the photography portion of the event. 

Felix is a world class photographer and he also assists for photographers like Mario Testino and Annie Leibovitz. I wanted to bring him on the show because I've never met anyone who had such vast knowledge in regards to lighting. I first met him when I was on set for my workshop with Lara Jade in NY last year. I was impressed with him and he also has a gift of being able to explain everything he knows in a very understandable way.

I've been using Photoshop for 14 years now and it feels like time has gone by insanely fast. I've been graced with the opportunity to come on the show to teach what I am most passionate about. That is of course, retouching! My message will be to illustrate the most optimal workflow for retouching in a way that is both easy to follow and efficient. I will showcase the best techniques that I have learned over the past few years and showcase them all in a way that can be applied immediately . The intention will be to gift you with the ability to retouch in the most efficient way possible without taking any shortcuts. I want you to get great results in the fastest time possible while still being able to work non-destructively. I hope to demystify the complexities of retouching as best that I can.

I will be talking about retouching from a business, psychology, and aesthetic standpoint, along with showcasing all my techniques. We will talk about the why and the how of retouching. A great retouched image is more about the mindset and game plan than it is about the techniques. I made sure to make this course based on the most common issues photographers always ask me.
