Fujifilm Instax cameras are some of the most popular instant cameras on the market. In some sense, Fujifilm Instax cameras have revived instant photography. With all the different-sized film and types of cameras available, it can be difficult choosing the right one for you. Here is a comparison that might be of help.
In our latest video, we compare the Fujifilm Instax SQ6 against the newly announced Instax Mini 40 camera. The Mini 40 is the latest Instax camera from Fujifilm. With its attractive design and easy-to-use controls, it's proving to be quite a popular option. For this reason, we wanted to see how it compared against our current favorite instant camera, the Instax SQ6.
Both cameras utilize different-sized film stock, and this creates a few advantages and disadvantages on either side. For instance, the SQ6, with its larger film size, offers a wider field of view from any given distance. On the other hand, with the mini film, due to its aspect ratio, you have a little extra control over how you compose your images.
Of course, these do boil down to personal preference and depend on how you shoot. Either way, here is a comparison to help you decide which camera is best for you.
