A Review of the New Fujifilm X-S20 Mirrorless Camera

The latest camera in Fujifilm's highly respected X Series line of mirrorless cameras, the X-S20, is here, and it brings with it some great features at a reasonable price, making it an appealing option for many photographers and filmmakers alike. This great video review takes a look at the new camera and the sort of performance and image quality you can expect from it in practice. 

Coming to you from Gordon Laing, this excellent video takes a first look at the new Fujifilm X-S20 mirrorless camera. The X-S20 replaces the X-S10, and as such, it comes with a nice range of features and upgrades, most notable being: 

  • Back-illuminated 26.1-megapixel sensor X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor
  • Native ISO range of 160-12,800
  • Continuous burst rate of 20 fps with electronic shutter (30 fps with 1.25x crop)
  • Continuous burst rate of 8 fps with mechanical shutter
  • AI-based subject-detection autofocus with deep learning technology
  • 6.2K 30p 4:2:2 10-bit video and 1080p 240p video
  • 19 film simulation modes with various presets for specific subjects
  • Five-axis in-body image stabilization offering up to 7 stops of compensation
  • F-Log2 with over 13 stops of dynamic range
  • Single SD slot
  • Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
  • Battery life of approximately 750 frames
