50mm (equivalent) lenses are rather versatile, able to cover a range of situations. Fujifilm shooters have quite a few options available to them at that focal length, and this excellent video comparison takes a look at three of them: the Fujifilm XC 35mm f/2, XF 35mm f/1.4 R, and the XF 33mm f/1.4 R LM WR.
Coming to you from Christopher Frost, this great video comparison takes a look at the Fujifilm XC 35mm f/2, XF 35mm f/1.4 R, and XF 33mm f/1.4 R LM WR lenses. No doubt, with a relatively neutral focal length and a wide aperture, all three lenses are great options for anything from half-body portraits to events coverage. And at $199, the XC 35mm f/2 is remarkably affordable (and quite portable on top of that), plus it is significantly sharper than you might expect, even compared to the other two. Of course, if you want to step up in both capabilities and performance, there are the two f/1.4 options, though it seems like the 33mm f/1.4 is worth the extra $200 over the 35mm f/1.4. That being said, all three lenses offer nice quality for a range of uses. Check out the video above for Frost's full thoughts on all three.
The 35f2 for 200 is a fine lightweight lens
It's not obtrusive
It's a n apsc nifty 50
I prefer Zeiss Touit Planar 32mmf/1.8 as my go to lens.not too wide & not too tight perspective.just nice.
