No doubt, the 35-150mm f/2-2.8 is incredibly versatile, at least on paper, with a focal length range that can cover everything from wide angle through portraits and on to telephoto work and a particularly wide set of maximum apertures. This combination makes it a particularly nice option for people like wedding photographers, who often have to lug a small arsenal of lenses around and will appreciate the convenience of an all-in-one design in tandem with the major cost savings.
