Yololiv specializes in producing all-in-one devices that allow you to stream, record, and monitor video. The majority of its devices focus on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch. Recently, the company announced its latest product, the YoloLiv Instream. This device allows you to record, monitor and stream directly to Instagram and TikTok with vertical video.
The YoloLiv Instream is arguably the first device that allows you to use a multi-cam setup to stream live content to Instagram and TikTok. Although there are several apps and software that allow you to stream live content to Instagram, these methods go against Instagram guidelines. Essentially, there is a great chance that your Instagram account can be completely banned if you use these methods, thus they're not recommended.
The Instream manages to overcome these issues by streaming directly to the apps via its Android operating system. The Instagram and TikTok apps are installed on the device, so professional cameras and streaming with a multi-cam setup do not violate any guidelines.
What's more is that the Instream is designed to natively stream vertical video up to 1080p 60 frames per second. Of course, if you're using a "proper" camera, then you will need to orientate it to shoot vertically too.
Additionally, all of this can be done without the need for a computer or even a smartphone. You simply need a stable internet connection in order to connect and stream with the Instream.
The Instream comes with a wide range of ports and connections, such as two HDMI inputs, USB-C for charging, mic and headphone jacks, a line in, an HDMI out port, an SD card slot, a sim card slot, and a USB-A port. The biggest feature, however, is the 7-inch touchscreen display. This display allows you to not only monitor the stream, it's also to manage and control the stream too.
Interestingly, the SD card slot offers multiple uses. Not only can you use it to store certain graphics, photos, and even video content that can be used in the stream, but you can also record directly to the SD card. Not only can you stream to Instagram and TikTok, but you can also simultaneously record the footage should you wish to upload it anywhere else after the live stream.
All of this does come at somewhat of a hefty price. However, considering this is a one-of-a-kind device allowing you to do something no other device or software does, it may be worth it for those that are serious about producing high-quality content for Instagram and TikTok.

As someone who is just now getting into Tiktok, it seems unbelievably frustrating having to create content in the vertical format. It seems like the smartest setup is something that allows you to film both vertically and horizontally at the same time in one device but then you are stuck with having to always have this strange device. This leaves me really just filming horizontally for 80% of the platforms like traditional computers, youtube, youtube shorts, etc and then cropping in tight for vertical content from Instagram to Tiktok.
The way I look at Tiktok and Instagram reels is they are much less professional, difficult to search and find, and overall way more disposable than say Youtube which obviously is my main channel at this point. I def wouldn't put more resources into my vertical content to make it look more professional but would for my horizontal content. Maybe this is not the smartest move but that's what it seems like to me.
