The Wednesday Rundown 10.5.11

Howdy and welcome to the Wednesday Rundown. This week we have a sick Football club shoot that captures great action shots. This video also uses water effects to really add to the image. We also have a swimsuit shoot at the Santa Monica pier. If you have a video that you think we might like to post, please click on "submit content" above.

Football Club Shoot:

Mackney Photography produces a shoot with the Leicester City Football club. They capture some nice action shots from the team and some great night images. The lighting is two studio lights with beauty dishes on them. The final images are at the end of the video and turn out stunning.

Santa Monica Pier Shoot:

Arthrst John takes us on a beautiful beach shoot with the famous Santa Monica pier as the background. Doing a shoot at the beach gives you so many options for backdrops, textures and different lighting situations. His final picture shows the ferris wheel silhouette as the sun sets over Santa Monica.

Bride & Groom Session:

FengLong photography knocks out a great shoot outside of Atlanta (Hotlanta!). Very simple lighting, just a speedlight and umbrella when needed. I love the framing they create with the plant life.

Magazine Shoot:

A behind the scenes look with F magazine, the leading fashion magazine in Cambodia. This is just a great feel good video that gets the creative juices moving. The simple ideas and the amazing environment that this shoot was done in make this video catch your eye.

You were right about the framing on those wedding shots but why didn't you warn me about the brides WACK drawn on eyebrows? She looks so untrustworthy because she NEVER really smiled. Gross at those eyebrows again!

Above, the word Vimeo, links back to F-Stoppers...I see what you did there.

hahahaha :D awesome :D

I have no clue why that links back to us. We have had some issues with links doing this. That code was taken from vimeo. I will look at it.

Thanks for featuring my bridal shoot here, still reluctant to post it to the contest since the bar is already so high! Cheers! :)
