With drones being so popular, aerial stills and videos have become widely available on stock photography websites. Following this trend, Shutterstock is announcing today their new partnership with DroneBase to offer even more content to choose from to their 1.8 million customers.
Shutterstock is one of the largest stock photography websites out there. But despite being well known, they still try to improve their services very regularly. A few weeks ago, I wrote about their partnership with IBM to help marketers find the perfect pictures faster than ever thanks to AI, and today they are joining forces with DroneBase to offer more aerial footage.
DroneBase is a network of professional drone pilots who are available in the 50 states of the United States as well as in 70 other countries. The current DroneBase collection includes 4K footage captured in places such as Australia, Austria, Bermuda, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Italy, Jamaica, Malta, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Tanzania, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The whole DroneBase collection is already available on Shutterstock. As you can see the content is quite diverse, from cityscapes to the forest, and I'm sure the catalog will only grow in the future!
