Emilie Tournevache and Jason Greer go head-to-head again in the main challenge of "Photo Throwdown" Montreal. This time the pair are commissioned by a local brewery to shoot one of the fan favorite beers for an upcoming ad.
Greer and Tournevache have 45 minutes and 20 bucks to spend on props to get the shot. Profoto B2s have been provided to them from Lens Rentals. Tournevache, however, has her choice of taking 10 of Greer's dollars or extra shooting time because of her victory in Part 1. Tournevache also has home-field advantage as the face-off takes place in her studio in Montreal. Consistent with previous "Throwdown" episodes, the competitors are thrown a “refocus” mid challenge, designed to throw a kink in their process and send them in another direction.
Tournevache is a fashion portrait photographer while Greer is one half of a husband and wife portrait and wedding photographer team. This product challenge should be interesting, as neither of them shoot product as their daily photographic work. Head over to Photo Throwdown to cast your vote for who you thought came up with the best photo for the challenge.
