#ProjectFilmSupply Contest is Awarding $50,000 in Prizes to Three Aspiring Filmmakers

The Music Bed has just announced a huge contest aimed at aspiring filmmakers called "Project Film Supply." The plan is to award three aspiring filmmakers with over $50,000 in prizes to help bring their film vision to life. To enter, all you have to do is pitch your short film idea, get votes, and the top three winning ideas will receive a ton of stuff from The Music Bed as well as a host of their industry partners.

"We're giving away 3 prize packages that total over $50,000. The Music Bed Team will be choosing the grand prize winner, and public voting will determine the other two winners."

So what can you win? Kind of a lot actually. Prizes for each of the three winners vary slightly, but for the grand prize, The Music Bed is giving away a lot of really sweet stuff (including a MoVI):

  • Zacuto: $1,250 Credit
  • Film Supply: $2,000 in Film Licensing Credit
  • Kessler: $2,500 Credit
  • Freefly: MoVI M5
  • Squarespace: Free Website and Hosting for 12 Months
  • Blackmagic: Davinci Resolve 10
  • G-Tech: G-SPEED Studio 16TB
  • RO̸DE: NTG-3 (with Blimp, Boom Pole, PG2), Procaster, VideoMic Pro with Deadcat, 2 x Lavalier with Micron Adaptors.
  • LensProToGo: $1,000 Lighting Kit Rental Credit

You can get more info on the contest, see current entrants and enter your own film idea here. Good luck!

That was probably one of the most inspiring contest ads I've ever seen.

@Mike, indeed it was.

That was a beautiful short film itself...

After all that I'm afraid to submit my comedy. LOL
