Think Tank launched “About A Photograph,” a video series that features stories from photographers about the photographs they have created.
The videos are co-produced by Think Tank Photo co-founders and award-winning photojournalists Kurt Rogers and Deanne Fitzmaurice. Each video will feature some of the world’s leading photographers recounting the stories behind these images that captured global attention.
The first in the series is from Saul Loeb and his photographs from Big Apple Pizza's shop owner Scott Van Duzer hugging President Obama during a visit along the campaign trail. It is great hearing the story being told from the photographer's standpoint, it helps fill in more info about the photographs and what was happening in the moment.
Think Tank's approach to "About A Photograph" is to explores the meaning, impact, and stories behind photographs that changed how we see the world. One photograph, no tricks. Visual storytelling at its essence.
