Even if you are already a photographer, tackling video can be a daunting thing. It takes careful control of everything from exposure and other basic parameters to lighting, pacing of the edit, and more. One important thing that I always have to watch out for is not going overboard with editing. It is easy, particularly when you are new to video and starting to become proficient, to go a bit overboard with effects and transitions in the editing process.
